Milk

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has this to say about irradiated food.
The FDA has evaluated the safety of irradiated food for more than 30 years and has found the process to be safe. The World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) have also endorsed the safety of irradiated food.
There are all sorts of websites and publications promoting both irradiation's safety and the harm it could cause.  It is not an issue here.

The bottom row of this picture is the entire fresh milk section
of the large grocery store in our neighborhood.

not from our neighborhood store, but just to give you an idea
These pictures show the irradiated, non-refrigerated milk.  They sell it by the half-liter, liter, two liters, and six-pack.  You can buy whole, light, skim, chocolate, soy, hemp, and lactose-free.  Our store has both sides of an entire aisle dedicated to irradiated milk.
